Saturday

Flannel Footed Pajamas

I'm going camping this spring, up in the mountains. It'll probably be colder up there than down here; so I'm ordering some new flannel footed pajamas. My brother and I always camp at this specific site. It's been fun to see how the trees have grown up around our campsite. I hope my feet are warm enough, with the flannel pajamas. Maybe instead I should order the fleece ones. But I'll order the bright orange or red ones; no need for the camo in the woods. Hope Joe doesn't laugh too much at me. But the hell with him, my feet will be warm.

I ordered some for the house too. I'm tired of my wife stealing the blankets and shivering while I let the dog out. Stupid dog anyway. And who leaves the newspaper way out there? My slippers don't do enough good on my feet; I'm wearing both the footed pajamas and the slippers.

Thursday

Fleece Footed Pajamas?

Oh my god.

I found this men's footed pajamas online store. I'm ordering three pairs. Look- I can get them in fleece! Or flannel, or jersey knit, but that's probably more for the summer.

I really like the green and black fleece ones. I'll have to order those. And the camo ones are nice too. These'll help me stay warm every night, even when she steals my covers. And she can have her heater back.

Well, as soon as fed-ex gets here.

Wednesday

I Found Some

Another cold night. I don't think the wife appreciates my wearing socks to bed, but if she keeps stealing the covers, I don't know what I'm going to do. It was terribly cold last night! And at 3 in the morning, I had to go let the dog out. Standing by the back door in my socks, the rain water was soaking into them. Stupid dog.

But this morning, I warmed them up with her space heater. She steals my covers, I steal her heater. Sound fair? Yeah, I got yelled at too. But I found a store selling men's footed pajamas! online! I'll check it out after work!

Tuesday

Men's Footed Pajamas?

Woke up this morning, the wife had stolen all the covers. How could she be so cruel? My feet were cold even before I got out of bed.

Of course, my slippers were over by the back door. Hiking across the linoleum floor wasn't fun- but I did it. By the time I got to the slippers, my toes were ice cubes. I stuck them into the slippers, but they never really warmed up. In fact, they were cold until I took my shower; and even then they didn't warm up far.

It didn't help that I had to go outside to get the newspaper. It was cold and wet, and the newspaper was in the compost in the garden. Jeez. The heat of the coffee didn't even get to the slippers to warm my toes up.

If only there was some sort of footed pajama I could wear!
